HERE TO HELP you SHOW UP ONLINE WITH

CONFIDENCE THAT CONVERTS.

NOT VERY LONG AGO, I LACKED THAT CONFIDENCE.

This led me to prioritize my work over my health and family. I wasn't proud of the life I was living–even with a loving family, two degrees, and a career I loved.

That's until I realized I had been spending most of my time living to work instead of building a lifestyle that granted me work life harmony. Then, I decided to take my marketing and public relations experience and turn what I know into a business.

But before I built up the confidence to go out on my own, I had huge dreams of becoming a TV host and spokesperson. Unable to land my “dream job” after college, I worked nights and weekends as a black jack dealer to pay the bills. During the day, I interned for local media and nonprofits to get my foot in the door in the communications field.

As an intern, I pitched a video series to the local entertainment paper and ended up becoming the co-producer and host. Shortly after, I landed my first full-time job as a social media manager but refused to give up on my dream.

So I volunteered for a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia where I co-scripted and hosted a TV special highlighting Latino talent for local news channel The CW Philly.

But before I knew it, life happened and work became the priority over anything else. So I took on high-demanding jobs with more responsibility and freelance gigs as a copywriter and social media specialist.

After becoming a mom and moving from South Jersey to Arizona, I struggled with the thought of putting my dreams on hold again–this time to raise a family.

In 2019, I launched @modernmillenialmom as a microblog on Instagram to share my experiences and challenges as a new mom.

To my surprise, the relatability and realness of my content started drawing attention from online communities with huge followings like @workingmomkind, parenting outlets including Mother.ly and Parents Latina, and none other than Facebook’s community and learning platform for Black and Latinx creators, Facebook Elevate.
